The lovely Keren Baker got me all excited about some Hero Arts stamps when she posted the fab card in the above link, i had to order them as i am a coffee drinker, even though it does look dreadful to most people as i have it so weak lol.
I received my stamps a couple of days ago and made this card only to find i am far too late to join in with the challenge that Keren had posted. Instead i will be sharing over at the fabulous Bleubeard and Elizabeth’s T stands for Tuesday and Craft Stamper, Any Stamp Challenge.
Used the Hero Arts low battery stamp for the tag that the Dina Wakley Silhouetted Women is wearing.
Coloured her dress using three different blue Distress Ink pads, blended as went along.
She has a tag so that she doesn’t need to tell anyone she needs caffeine, she just NEEDS A COFFEE NOW, no questions asked lol!!! Stamped the tag using Copper Brilliance Ink Pad.
The coffee stains are from the Ronda Palazzari stencil mini well rounded. This is my most used stencil, it is used on almost all of my projects.
Grounded Grumpy Gertrude, as she is known in my house(just for now lol),using washi tape.
Repeated the stamping on the reverse of the card.
Applied Tea Dye Distress Ink through the stencil on the card and on both sides of the envelope.
Hope you have enjoyed your visit today, as always Thank You so much for dropping by, have a wonderful weekend.

Fabulous work Mo! I love how you can create a CAS style but still use ink and images to give it your twist and style - you are going to have to teach me that hun!
ReplyDeleteThe other thing I asked you about - well I found Debs new blog - was getting worried for a bit lol! Have a fab weekend Karen x
That coffee challenge's loss is my good fortune. I adore what you did and I am also a coffee drinker. Of course, I like mine strong. I love the coffee stains. I would use that stencil a lot if I had it, too. It certainly worked well with this card. This is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining T this week. I'm SO glad you did. I look forward to seeing how you use those stamps in the future, like on Tuesday (grin).
Great card, love the coffee theme too. I'm a weak coffee drinker and went onto decaff years ago due to caffeine headaches in the school holidays lol, but still have it strong if I have a home made milky latte. Those stamps were a good find and I love that stencil. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeletehugs Brenda xxxx
I'm not human until I've had a coffee in the morning so this lady could be me... Love this CAS make.
ReplyDeleteThat looks great!
ReplyDeleteA great card -- I really love it!
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday Mo!
Trying to get all caught up here after our internet woes during the week!
ReplyDeleteJust saw your T Tuesday post with these fab coffee stamps! I'm not a coffee drinker so when my battery is low, it's tea!
What a fun card, Mo! I'm such a sucker for coffee-themed stamps myself. (Pause...taking a sip...) You have now officially passed on the enabling!
ReplyDeleteLove that card. I'm a tea girl at home, but love to go and get a good coffee in a cafe!!
ReplyDeleteLoving the look of that stencil - really don't need another though - lol!! Great card and love what you did to the envelope to tie it all in xx
ReplyDeleteI sometimes need a label like that! Love your card - with the fab coffee stains spreading all the way to the envelope - so much fun. And I think you're allowed to drink your coffee any way you like it. Happy Sunday!
