Over at the DLP this weeks Prompt is:
March 8, 2014 Challenge - Week Eleven -
Draw, photograph or collage a bird onto your page.
I collaged birds onto my page, then used using Pan Pastels and Die cuts to colour. Used JellyBean Soup, Urban and Artistic Stamper Stamps, which are all lovely and very versatile sets. Used Lin Brown Stencil and gold Posca Pen to highlight the flowers. Not too keen on the colour of the flowers, i used Fresco Paints but used too much Blood Orange and didn’t lighten it with a baby wipe, another lesson learnt.
I like my page despite the flower colour, no time for journalling at the moment, will go back later and fill in.
Thanks for dropping by.

ReplyDeleteFab page, love the birds.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely delicious book page collaging - those birds are a delight! Yes, Blood Orange can be a bit full on... but then I'm generally wary of reds and oranges!
