This weeks challenge over at the fantastic Less Is More site is to use ‘ACETATE’. You should really go and look at their weekly challenges. think doing a clean and simple card is easy think again lol. Please join in the fun and see how you get on…
This weeks card was quite difficult to put together as there are so many ways to use acetate. Decided to cut an aperture out using my dies which are similar to Nesties. Really like this shape as it can be used in many ways.
Treated myself to a couple of the new Tatty Button stamps from Creative Expressions, thought this one suited the sentiment. The sentiment is from a set of stamps which i purchased many years ago and not too sure where they are from, it’s possible they are from Around-To-It stamps. Stamped Tatty in Momento black ink and coloured her using Promarkers. This week thought it would be fun to use an embossed front to add a little interest to the white space. Didn’t think the card needed any more embellishments but tell me what do you think?
Just wanted to say THANK YOU for all the constructive feedback and comments on last weeks cards, it was fantastic to read each and every one. Hope you all have a great week and stay well and healthy. I’m still not over my latest cold but am hopeful that is it coming to an end very soon.
Thanks for dropping by:-)
Very nice use of the acetate. Great card.

This is a wonderful card, I love the beautiful shaped aperture, and so glad to see a Tatty buttons stamp - I got some at Ally Pally last weekend, and can truly say I have never seen them before - aren't they gorgeous?! Beautiful card, a fantastic make!
ReplyDeleteHello there, this is great, I love the way you have Tatty laying nonchalantly on the front and it's a great sentiment. Have a lovely week:0) xxx
ReplyDeleteLove Tatty and love the card!
ReplyDeleteGreat card, love the shaped aperture to frame that sweet sentiment. Tatty is cute too :)

Am so loving your Tatty Button, a total charmer and a smashing card. Annette x
ReplyDeleteI just love that sentiment and this is a super way of using acetate. Cute little image too!
ReplyDeleteMy only comment would be that the colour inside the card, as pretty as it is, seems a little far removed from the colouring on the image... however it may just be on my monitor!
So pleased to see yet another fab submission!

HI MOH glad you are feeling better than you did
ReplyDeleteI love the cleanness of your card and wouldn't add anything as far as embellishments
Maybe move the fairy up a touch, to overlap the aperture a little
I think Id have had a lighter colour under the sentiment, that's all
Super job!

ReplyDeletei agree with you, massofhair, this card doesn't need any further embellishments - it's perfect - love the aperture, what a great shape!
ReplyDeleteThe little image you used is really cute...and love the colors you used for the image. The inside of the card looks like teal on my monitor...but maybe it's green? Great shape die you used too!
