The Port Sunlight show was really great this time with some of my favourite retailers being there, Paper Artsy, Snazzys, Anna Marie Designs, Stamp attack and the lovely Jennie Boxall from the Artistic Stamper was demonstrating. Here is the tag Jennie gave me at the end of the show. She used Distress Stains and the stamps and stencils are available on her website.
I asked Jennie to bring this mirror that she had altered along to the show as i was bowled over by the vibrant blues and golds, needed to see in real life.
It is beautiful and so very tactile, thank you Jennie:-) (Picture of Jennie below).
Bought one of Jennie’s stencils and a stamp set.
Of course i had to visit Paper Artsy!!! Here are a few images of Mark and Leandra and their stand.
Bought some Fresco paints, Smoothy Card, A large Journal and some Crunchy Paper.
The Versacraft Ink Pads i bought from Card-io who have a new shop in Wigan, everything else from the Paper Artsy stand.
Got the last two metallic Pan Pastels Silver and Light Gold so now i have all of the metallics so far. The circuit Board stencil was from Stamp Attack designed by Carol Clements, the wooden items and the Mixed Media shapes are from the PA stand.
Here they are the Lin Brown #Tagsonstour! Lin Brown better know as Yours Artfully makes some unique tags with her rubber stamp designs, here are a few i saw in real life and they are all amazing, Thank You Lin for letting them out of your sight and thank you to Paper Artsy for remembering to bring them.
Next sighting will be the Doncaster Dome Show in October.
Adore this larger project below, the blues and greens are so gorgeous, wanted to bring this one home with me lol.
Using a mixture of Lin’s stamps and those by Jo Firth Young.
These two projects are larger than tags, love this size of greyboard.
More stash!
This is the last of the stash but i thought i would show you a couple of images of Hulme Hall where the show is held. It is a very old hall with a lovely ceiling, very airy and bright.
I wasn’t able to get permission from all the people in the images so if anyone would like their picture removed please let me know and i will remove as soon as possible.
Here are a couple of pictures of Leandra creating her final project of the day, it isn’t finished but it was time to go as was exhausted from the day.
Think you can tell i had a lovely day, caught up with a few people i hadn’t seen in a few years and left broke but happy. OH gave me my Xmas present money to spend early which helped me out a lot!
Hope you enjoy the stash share, looking forward to your comments
