Entered into two swaps with the UK Art Swaps Group this month. One is to make 2 Halloween ATC’s and the other is 5 for 5 tag using lime with a hint of pink.
Do take into account i have shaky hands and a hint of colour is sometimes a little hard to achieve lol.
All of the backgrounds were made using Pan Pastels a couple were then layered with stencils, fine line Unipin Pens added shadow and detail to all as i outlined the words.
Starting from the left used a Dina Wakely stencil then added green Portfolio Pastel to the edge trying to introduce depth. The words are from Dyan Reaveley and the pink shape is made from felt.
Second from the left again used Pan Pastels for the background then added stamps from Chocolate Baroque’s Punky Flowers, butterfly from Darcy Wilkinson’s Electica Range, words from Dyan Reaveley.
Not too sure about the middle Tag, used Pan Pastels for the background, the cornflower stencil from TCW designed for them by Julie Fei-Fan Balzar, struggled with shadow and light! Words by Dyan Reaveley.
Fourth from the left background from Pan Pastels, used Lin Brown’s Ecelctica stamps, did a little shadow stamping and a little highlighting with a black Unipin Pen. Words from Dyan Reaveley.
Last Tag, background using Pan Pastels, used a stamp from a company haven’t seen before called Deep Red, wonderful quote from Picasso.
For the second swap i made 2 Halloween themed ATC’s.
Stamps on the left Tag are very old and don’t know which manufacturer they are from. This is only the second time i have used any of the images but i do love the cloaked monster.
Tag on the right used a large Chocolate Baroque stamp, great image. Used Fresco Paints to colour them both in on top of Pan Pastel backgrounds.
Hope you like both swaps, looking forward to your comments
WOW your tags look even better when you click on the image and blow it up - gorgeous backgrounds.
