ATC Swap November 2013

Once again i am taking part in a Twitter Swap hosted by the lovely Sarah Dunkley.  This months theme is ‘Space’.

My mind got carried away with thoughts of Star Trek and Babylon 5 but then came back to Earth when contemplating what Space can mean to different people.

My Three ATC’s turned into four as the first thing that came to mind was ‘Empty Space’. This is a concept for the ordered and balanced mind, definitely not mine which is filled with all sorts of ~^>*+-#~. So here is ‘Empty Space’ the ATC.

My sense of humour doesn’t always transfer across, was hopeful someone would get it so when Sarah asked could she keep it i was happy to say yes. Now onto the three which will be swapped.

This ATC is called Crop Circles, it is a stamp i had made for me by Dimension Fourth many moons ago, they are now know as Dimension Stamps.  Roy is wonderful and i am sure you will all have seen him at the Craft Shows around the UK, so if any of you would like to get any of your hand drawn images made into stamps i am sure they can help.

The background was made using Dylusions Sprays and a little Pan Pastel metallic over the top to add a little shimmer. The I Believe stamp was a freebie from Dimension Fourth at the time i purchased my bespoke stamps.

This ATC is called ‘Negative Space’. Have always wondered what negative space is and i now know that it is the space we don’t add any colour to.

Used the masks from Andy Skinner called Hippy chick to draw around, added Pan Pastels and stamped over with the small Alium stamp from Clarity Stamps. The word ‘LOVE’ came from a Freebie from Craft Stamper magazine July 2013 issue.

This ATC is called ‘Space Debris’ used the Tim Holtz Texture Fades Folder called Cracked as it reminded me of how space debris might look.  Metallic Pan Pastels over the top look fab but had to add a little Treasure Gold to highlight a path through the middle of the debris.

Hope you like the ATC’s and would love to read your comments Smile

  2. Loved all 4- the 1st was just a brill idea and I loved the concept the second I loved the colours and the fact it's your own stamp. The 3rd is my fav it leaves so much to the imagination. And the 4th sparked my imagination a path to where I ask myself. Great set of cards which led to lots of thoughts. Just what art for me is all about. Xx
