It is the last week of Summer Of Colour Challenge 2014 and this weeks colours are really hard, again! Thanks to Kirsten who has definitely challenged me every week and i hope i have risen to each and every challenge.
This weeks colours are
Raspberry, Tangerine and a pop of lemon.
This weeks page has been created with Serif Craft Artist Professional digital software.
There has been lots of layering, resizing images and changing the colours of some of the images to get the colours as close as i possibly can to this weeks challenge.
This page can be used as a card base, a scrap book background or printed onto fabric. Love the versatility of Serif Craft Artist and it gives me another way to craft when my hands don’t want to play.
I am sorry that i wasn’t able to leave comments on Facebook, Google +, Instagram or Flickr accounts as i don’t have accounts with these places.
Thank you to Kirsten who has made the last six weeks fun and opened my eyes to pink as a crafting colour lol.
I have recently been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my hands and am hopeful that crafting will keep them active. Thank you to all of you who have wished me well and left the most wonderful comments.
Hope to see you all next year.

Gorgeous and great use of the colour combo xx
ReplyDeletelovely creation! I never knew such software existed! Thanks for stopping by my blog and hop to "see" you in SOC 2015.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your diagnosis-I've read that a vegan diet may help alleviate the symptoms -might be worth a try? Your Soc piece is lovely and a very good sentiment for this over stressful world!
ReplyDeleteWhat a seriously lovely design with the different sized butterflies. I like the black flowers and the lovely soft lilac background too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful design and use of the colours. Valerie
ReplyDeleteBeautiful piece. I hope your hands won't cause you too much trouble. Keep creating and have fun making art.
ReplyDeleteIt's just perfect! Xx
ReplyDeleteWell done on your gorgeous SOC piece - I missed last week and haven't thought about this one yet. Hope your hands can keep creating art!!
ReplyDeleteLove your butterflies, and yes it is good to be taken out our comfort zone. So sorry about your hands, after an ankle injury I have osteoarthritis in my ankle, I am finding ways of exercise that keep my joint moving and flexible. I hope that your art will keep your fingers flexible. much love x
ReplyDeleteExcellent work. Beautiful butterflies. Good luck with the arthritis. I too have it in my fingers, all of them, knees, hip and ankles so it's not a party and pain is a daily thing but we keep going. Nice to have met you on this fun event. By the way I rub something called BIOFREEZE that is like a therapy for pain relief. I order mine in 100count packets from Amazon. It helps alleviate some pain and I can move around more freely and my fingers don't stiffen up when I type Orthopedic doctors sometimes give that to their patients. Good luck again.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon with your osteoarthritis. I want to thank you so much for sharing your talents with us these past weeks during SOC! I love what you created this week. HUGS!!!
ReplyDeleteGosh, your piece here took my breath away at first glance. It is absolutely stunning. Awesome work! :D
ReplyDeleteI hope you get good treatment for your hands to help relieve the symptoms.

oh this is so lovely! I too have osteo- in several places including right knee-and my motto has been "use it or lose it":) You still must pay attention to your body's warnings that you're overdoing it but exercising the areas is such a good thing!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!
ReplyDeleteOh this is lovely! I'd love to be better at digital arts!
ReplyDeleteLovely piece of work and love the colours - even if they wouldn't be your first choice :-) x
