Over at the Stampotique Designers Challenge blog the theme is still anything goes, for week three i am entering these ATB’s i made instead of traditional cards.
To add even more sparkle to the snow (Glass Seed Bead Texture Paste from Galleria) i used silver Glamour Dust and Twilight Sparkle glitter from Crafty Notions on the tops of the boxes. Added some little figures i have had in my stash for many years as i thought they would be perfect for this snowy scene.
This is my OH’s ATB it is the largest shape. Went round the edges with Walnut Stain DI and coloured the rest of the box with Iced Spruce DI.
The black panels have been stamped with a very old Christmas stamp set from Elusive Images (now chocolate Baroque) using white Artiste pigment ink pad then applied the Coarse White Pan Pastel over the top to add subtle shimmer and to pop the script stamp even more.
This is the first outing for the Smitten Moustache Monsters from Stampotique, have added wings (Ingrid Bolme stamps) and turned them into Angels.
Used Spectrum Noir Pencils and Derwent Graphik Link Painters to colour them in.
The words are from Dyan Reaveley red rubber stamp set for Ranger.
Base of the ATB.
This is my ATB, used the middle sized box from the Eileen Hull Sizzix die and the same lovely Smitten Moustache Monsters so didn’t show you all the sides.
These words are from the same Dyan Reaveley set as above.
Both of the boxes together. Enjoyed making these very much.
I am also entering the boxes into the Pan Pastel Challenge, Christmas.
Country View Crafts Challenge – Nostalgia.
Craft Stamper – White Stamping.
Hope you are getting excited,it’s only 3 night’s until the big day!
Wishing you ALL HAPPY HOLIDAYS and a MERRY CHRISTMAS.
Thank you for dropping by.

These are just amazing Mo! Wow, so much detail you have included and I just love the little scenes you put together! Well done my friend! Just dropping in to say A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOURS, big holiday hugs Pamellia :)
ReplyDeleteOh mo! What great ideas you've had! These ATBs are a terrific alternative to cards and the sentiments and images are such fun too - they're alternative in every sense of the word! I love how non-traditional they are and yet they dare to sparkle! Sorry I've been out of sight for a while. I've been a bit poorly, but I'm feeling much better today. Hope you're doing OK. Have a lovely Christmas. xxxx
ReplyDeleteWhat a smashing idea! These are totally fab! xxx
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us at the Take It Make It Challenge. Adorable! I love Stampotique. This turned out very fun and festive.
ReplyDeleteWowzer MoH, these are superb!! I do hope you've got them set out as decorations, I bet the light just bounces of the sparkles making them seem alive.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comment on my T post. I too recently got a new set of birthday sentiments from Rubber Dance, I think I need the other one as well, hehe. Have you seen Helen Allen's videos? She's on the DT for Rubber Dance and I always end up wanting the exact stamps she uses, hehe.
Have a wonderfully festive time, however you celebrate the passing year, and may 2015 bring you many things to make you smile :o)) xx
Wow love both you ATBs, the black sides with white script ( a fav of mine right now) provides a beautiful stage for your smitten moustache monsters debut appearance. I also really love the little Christmas scenes you have created on top. Stunning xxxx
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed both boxes, but I especially like both sentiments. Really funny, too.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous art boxes, Christmas calories don't count here either ;) big Christmassy hugs from Poppy and me xx
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for joining in with us at Stampotique :)
These are fabulous boxes MoH, I love that you and Mr MoH craft together, my OH just doesn't get it at all, but at least he doesn't complain when the new stash keeps coming through the post. I'm so glad that Christmas Calories don't count , I just wish that I could extend that into the New Year too! Thank you so much for joining in with our challenges at Stampotique and Country View Crafts, and I hope you both have a very Happy New Year. Sue xx
