Made some Gelli prints a couple of weeks ago, made a card for a swap, also made two other cards from the plate. One has already been sent, this is the other.
This is the second impression onto cream card stock, love the patterns here.
Ran the front of the card through a Sheena Douglass embossing folder called Arches, lightly applied Vintage Photo Distress Ink pad and then some brown tones of Portfolio Pastels to the centre of the arch and doorway.
The inner has stamps from Get Stamping magazine, thought it would be different to use ‘Make A Wish’ as the sentiment instead of Happy Fathers Day.
Close up of the letters used on the front, i like acronyms and as typography is quite trendy at the moment decided to use some here.
A quick post this time, may i say ‘hi and welcome’ to my new Followers.
Thanks for dropping by, hope you have the time to leave a comment so i know you have visited.

Great card Mo, I love the way you have used the EF and ink over the gelli plate design and the finished sentiment pages. Great job xx

ReplyDeleteI love what you did with the gelli print and that fabulous embossing folder of arches. I really like arches on projects actually. This is a great Father's Day card. Julie Ann xxx
ReplyDeleteThat is such a clever use of the arches on the gelli print! I have the stamp of it but not the EB. I really like the typography on the front and the dandelion seeds stamped inside is inspired! Bravo! :-D

Wow wow wow I really lurrrrveeeee this card, the background is totally amazing and so unique. Thank you for your lovely comment, I just want to mention, the flowers I coloured with Distress Markers not alcohol ones lol, I do love colouring with promarkers and I think it's this practice that is now helping me to layer other mediums. I used the distress markers on their own with no water :-) Kezzy xxx
