Over at the Christmas Fun Challenge Blog their theme this week has been ‘Babies First Christmas’. I have been stumped for ideas as i don’t make baby cards, unless asked, so have very few images.
Managed two cards and a tag for their present. Went with twins on one of the cards and a general image on the other.
I apologise for the numerous mistakes on this ‘twins’ card. I had to cut the images out and then place them on the card where appropriate. Drew around the shapes to try and add a little depth but my pen slipped onto the bunny, covered it up using glitter. The sentiment is hand written.
This card has been digitally created using CAP2. Printed out the topper, adhered it to a piece of cream cardstock and went round the edge with Archival Cornflower Blue ink.
The background stripe is Pan Pastel Pthalo Blue and Silver Metallic over the top. Added some ribbon and then decided to make a matching tag.
The tag was created in the same way as above except i printed this onto Crafters Companion Centura Pearl card stock, the snowflake inner was also created digitally.
Hope you like my ‘Babies First Christmas’ cards.
Looking forward to your comments.

I love all those birds lined up on the branch - what a cool image, and I love that you reversed it for the tag - very effective!

I love your first card it really is so cute and the sparkle sets it off nicely, the subtle yellow is really nice too. Your bird card is a real fun card. I can almost hear the birds chattering on that branch lol xxx
