SDC 195 Human With Animal Head

This week it is the turn of the very talented Arwen to choose the theme over at Stampotique Designers Blog, this is what she has to say:

I love to combine designs together.  This time I want to see something funny.  Combines a human body with an animal head.  I'm looking forward to your creations.

The background is from a workshop i attended last year and is made from Dylusions sprays. Wanted to add some splats and drippage which i did using Windsor and Newton Inks and a Colour Bloom spray called Precious Stone. Also added some script stamping using Brilliance Graphite black ink pad.

The pictures dried up after that, sorry! Did a bit of mixing and matching and came up with two characters.

I have used Mink and Smitten Moustache Monsters as my first mash up and Buru and a piece of fabric with a butterfly on it as my other.

Washi tape from stash grounds them both and if you look closely you can see that Ron has wings…

The text reads RONALD WEASLEY!!! Thought this would be a good adventure from Hogwarts School of Magic where Ron has tried to do a transformation spell and it has gone all wrong, poor Hermione!

Went a tad overboard on the tiny little stamps in the background, they represent the Magic in the air as Ron tries to get his spell correct.

The stencil used is from Artist Cellar and Tamara LaPorte.

Thanks for dropping by, i hope you enjoyed your visit and look forward to your lovely comments.

  1. Love the background colours and drippage! Creatures look a bit dodgy. Reminds me of something from Guantanamo Bay??
