This week am going to enter the same card for two challenges linked to below, plus and a second one for the PDCC71 challenge.
Less Is More Pastel Design and
the Play Date Cafe PDCC71 colour splash .
Here is this weeks card for both challenges… After much trial and error, trying out chalks, pencils and Distress Inks this is what i eventually decided to enter. I designed and cut the scallop DL sized card using my Pazzle Inspiration electronic die cutting machine and software.
The stamps used are from Polka Doodles and Molly Blooms both free with crafting magazines Papercraft Essentials and Simply Homemade.
Used ASDA colouring pencil light blue
Tumbled Glass Distress Ink
Black Versafine Ink to stamp all the images and text
Here are a couple of cards i made but decided not to complete them or made mistakes which meant that they weren’t suitable to enter the LIM challenge…
May i say a HUGE THANK YOU to all of the people who visited and commented on last weeks LIM entry. I was amazed to get so many lovely and positive comments! Thanks for taking the time to visit and comment, each and every single one was much appreciated.
Thanks for dropping by:-)
it was great to see the other cards you considered for our challenge... and I feel delighted that they are actually fulfilling their purpose of challenging you!
ReplyDeleteThe card you finally decided on is a very interesting shape, I don't have an electronic cutting machine of any description, so tend to stick to easier shapes of cards.
I like the bunting.
Thanks for joining us yet again and we hope to see you next week!

What an unusual shape of card! Love it and the bunting is gorgeous especially chalked in this soft blue.
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question: Stampin' Up make a stamp on a wheel so that you can stamp a border miles long if you choose. The Neighbourhood wheel is one of these with a load of houses on it!
Happy crafting! Vx
Interesting shape card, love the image too. x
ReplyDeleteDo you really have a mass of hair??!!! Your blog name makes me laugh!

What a great shape for the LIM challenge card, and I think the bunting follows the contours perfectly. It's great to see your other cards too - they are so creative.
