Decisions, Decisions…

This week am going to enter the same card for two challenges linked to below, plus and a second one for the PDCC71 challenge.

Less Is More Pastel Design and

  P1020157_wm

the Play Date Cafe PDCC71 colour splash .

PDCC71

Here is this weeks card for both challenges… After much trial and error, trying out chalks, pencils and Distress Inks this is what i eventually decided to enter.  I designed and cut the scallop DL sized card using my Pazzle Inspiration electronic die cutting machine and software.

Pastel home LIM 05

The stamps used are from Polka Doodles and Molly Blooms both free with crafting magazines Papercraft Essentials and Simply Homemade.

Used ASDA colouring pencil light blue

Tumbled Glass Distress Ink

Black Versafine Ink to stamp all the images and text

Here are a couple of cards i made but decided not to complete them or made mistakes which meant that they weren’t suitable to enter the LIM challenge…

  1. it was great to see the other cards you considered for our challenge... and I feel delighted that they are actually fulfilling their purpose of challenging you!
The card you finally decided on is a very interesting shape, I don't have an electronic cutting machine of any description, so tend to stick to easier shapes of cards.
    I like the bunting.
Thanks for joining us yet again and we hope to see you next week!

  21. I really don't know why you were dubious about entering these challenges, I find it is always great to see different approaches and not every one is a sheep!
Would also like to say that I am so jealous as I have very thin and fine hair? lol.

  25. What an unusual shape of card! Love it and the bunting is gorgeous especially chalked in this soft blue.

To answer your question: Stampin' Up make a stamp on a wheel so that you can stamp a border miles long if you choose. The Neighbourhood wheel is one of these with a load of houses on it!
    Happy crafting! Vx
