Tough challenge this one, never read through so many quotes or lyrics to get here. I think this is the second toughest challenge for me but i finally got there just before the challenge closes tomorrow.
If you pop over to the Craft Barn Blog and have a look at the fabulous entries i am sure you will be tempted to join in, it’s never too late!
Went digital again as i enjoy creating in Craft Artist Professional 2. Used a few different digi kits, a few brushes and styles, added a little decoupage on the words and on the birds. If you can see the glass style that has been applied to the quote you can see how it lifts off the page, well i hope it does lol.
Used a brick wall digiboss file to add some texture which i hope you can see and added stitching to the edges. Have added You Tube videos today instead of links to the kits in the hope you will see how easy it is to create using this wonderful programme.
The back of the iCard sized image.
Still no printer but hopefully will be getting a replacement very soon.
Thank you to everyone who pops by and leaves a comment or not, hope you enjoyed your visit today.

May i apologise to Fiona Spain whose name i incorrectly used, i still go and look at your and any other entries that are on FB as i love to see all the entries.
Please note i do not get any payment or any freebies for adding any links in my Blog.
Love the quote, I need to remember that! Love the crackles and bricks and birds and colour. Digi thingamajig is not for me but you do it so well. Also the lingo sailed over my head. Tis fab! Xx
ReplyDeleteWonderful how the page looks real, the birds are jumping out of the background and yes the bricks can be seen perfectly . Just lovely! Off to watch the video I know nothing of digi crafting!

ReplyDeleteOh this is beautiful - I love all the different effects on your page and the textures.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful lovely, I love how you put these together, and this one works so well. The quote really does pop off the page. Great colour scheme too. Love it xx
ReplyDeleteWow this is gorgeous. Love everything about it :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I could go digital t times, but I've just never felt like I was good enough. You did a gorgeous job and illustrated why digital is so special.
ReplyDeleteI was also very impressed at how you got both words in one quote. I can see why it took so long to find just the right one for this challenge. Art and quote are perfect in every way.
Beautiful digi work yet again, I do admire your patience in finding the right images and effects to do this. I must admit to getting a bit frustrated when I try, (just due to lack of knowledge, need to watch those videos, and the rest lol) Well done with finding a quote with both words too.x
ReplyDeleteWow, MOH, you certainly are the Queen of Digi Art! This is so lovely. I think it's amazing how you create such texture and depth with digi images. This quote is just inspired too. I love those little birds, the wall effect and the branches/cracks that kind of trickle across. Hope your printer gets fixed soon, as this would look lovely printed out as a card. Julie Ann xxx
ReplyDeleteHi! Hope you're well?
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool! Your digi art looks amazing! You're a lady of many talents! xx
Great digi art! I don't have the patience to learn how to do it so I'm stuck with inky fingers. Well done.
ReplyDeleteClever digi creation! I'm like Julie and have neither the desire nor patience for anything done on the computer but admire the work others do. I wouldn't say I'm stuck with inky fingers either cos that's the way I like them, lol!
ReplyDeleteI can see the dimension on the mirror and particularly like the effect with the birds. Lovely little details like the stitching you added in there too.
Hugs
Lesley Xx
