Speed Challenge 3

There is a new Challenge in town called The Speed Craft Challenge which i am really enjoying as i do enjoy making quick cards.

This weeks Challenge is an image inspiration chosen by Keren Baker who is one of the five ladies who run this challenge, here is the image.

Here is the stash i chose to work from.

Part of the challenge is that you are allowed to gather any items you will use, this helps you to achieve the 10 minutes you are allowed, this is what i came up with.

I took too long to complete my card this week, this was due to the new die i used on the right hand side of the front. The die cutting alone cost me 3 minutes…

I had to assemble the flower which is from Sizzix and cut from velvet and leather, added a bead for the centre.

The leaves are from Sizzix Susan’s Garden range and very fiddly to use and place, again this was the first time i had used this die. The diamond panel is a Sizzix embossing folder.

Oh yes i also sprayed the background with Cosmic shimmer sprays and had to dry the card, so much to do lol.

This is my time:

Speed Challlenge Wk3 Sept 2014

1 minute 41 seconds over, not too bad considering how much i had to do.

Hope you have enjoyed your visit, thanks for dropping by.
